Skema.ai conceptual design and re-use engine for Revit launches
As we’ve covered on my blog before, Skema is a conceptual design tool that integrates with Autodesk Revit. We are releasing the full version of the Skema solution this month at Autodesk University.
Skema is composed of two components:
- Skema AI – A conceptual design platform that preserves the logic of previous Revit layouts, allowing designers to copy, paste, and reshape successful design elements from past projects to fit new concepts.
- SkemaBIM – A BIM knowledge reuse engine that uses AI and full Revit integration to automatically generate detailed LOD 350 BIM models in minutes rather than months, drawing on work from previous projects.
Together, the tools aim to dramatically accelerate BIM delivery by enabling design teams to reuse proven work, reduce repetitive modeling tasks, and focus more effort on design quality and innovation.
